We started off slow, but we're finding ourselves in each and every game.

We were a little slow there warming up, but then we got going and started playing some good possession ball. We just had trouble finding the net early.

Central put good pressure on the ball in the first half. I told the kids to slow down the offense and see what was ahead of them. They did that and started finding the open people and got a little more aggressive on defense.

It was a weird game. I thought the flow of the game was weird. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. We made some big plays early on defense and our offense started slow, but finally started coming around late in the first half.

They started out so fast but once we switched to a zone, they slowed down and we started to pick it up. Even though we don't use a lot of players, I think we're in pretty good shape and we don't slow down the whole game.

I don't think we necessarily started off slow. I think they started off fast. What we tried to do was not get buried under the avalanche and that's what I told our guys. We watched their last game against Roanoke and they got them down 26-4. That's a tough climb to come back. I figured if we could handle their first rush of energy that would give us a chance to stay in the game. I knew we were going to play well, it was just a matter of when it was going to kick in.

I'm hoping the third game was more indicative of our team than the first two. We started so slow. They obviously are a great team, but we couldn't do anything right. We couldn't pass, couldn't defend it, couldn't block it. We were just half a step slow the first and second game. It was disappointing we weren't ready to play.

We started slow tonight. We just couldn't put every aspect of the game together in the first game. The second game we were really fighting. I thought we played more our style. It could have gone either way.

I was walking down the last fairway with Kenny Perry , and it had been a long day, and I go, 'You knew I was slow, but you didn't know I was nine hours slow!' At first he was just flummoxed. But then he said, 'Don't sell yourself short. You weren't slow today.' I went, 'Thank you.'

It was a great thrill, and the reason I wanted to play in the game, having it here, in my hometown. The other guys got the butterflies out (he started the game on the bench), and it gave us a chance just to come in, slow down the tempo, take better shots, and that helped us get back into the game.

We started out slow but came back the second game to win in extra points. Our girls never gave up. We had a hard time in the third game and almost won the fourth.

The way we started the game, things looked pretty good. For some reason we decided to slow down. We really had a chance to put the game away early.

We've started slow in every game, and I don't know why. I think the kids are prepared for every game, but sometimes I think we wait for something to happen instead of forcing the issue. Hopefully, we can figure it out during this off week.

We felt like before the season started, leaving out all the injuries, we felt like we were going to be a pretty good team. We started out slow due to injuries. It kind of set us back a little bit. But winning that home game (against the Boston Celtics), then going on a six-game road trip, that was either going to make us or break us. It was really going to determine our season. We were hungry, and we were really confident and went 5-1.

It was like exactly opposite. We started slow last game.
