I write when I ordsprog
I write when I feel like it. When I'm stuck on an issue or when something great or terrible happens. It helps me to have a dialogue when no one is asking me questions or giving me advice.
Natalie Gahrmann
I think I'll probably write something, a family drama. I'm good at frame works and plots, but my dialogue is atrocious. It gets very over-wrought. My husband's a writer and his dialogue is brilliant, so, I'm very often his script-editor, so I think we'll probably write something together.

He was really a neophyte when I first read his work. The O'Neill had rejected it five times, but the sixth time one of my readers said he had improved a great deal. He had learned to write dialogue, and now he was learning to write confrontations between two people.
Lloyd Richards
We should be careful and discriminating in all the advice we give. We should be especially careful in giving advice that we would not think of following ourselves. Most of all, we ought to avoid giving counsel which we don't follow when it damages those who take us at our word.

I enjoy relating my experience and giving advice. If we had something like this when we were students at Weehawken High School, I know it would have been beneficial for us. There are so many questions, from admission into colleges and student life on campus.
Omar Elangbawy
The important thing is that he feels good and he wants to do the right thing with this. So if it helps him just being back and giving a little advice, more power to it.

It was funny, during the making of this movie I was really sad because you're not getting anything back and you're giving so much to so many other people. I feel like that's the way Claire was. She spends a lot of time on other people, giving people advice and learning about people; and she doesn't really take care of herself in that way.

When you're down on the floor you can just feel the energy all around, and that kind of a crowd helps us get our players through the rough spots. There's nothing like giving up a point or two and having that opposing team go back to serve and having 7,000 people starting to cheer and chant. That adrenaline starts going and it just helps you through that. It's really a benefit to have that.
Wayne Kreklow
Dialogue is my forte. Whether that is because I am an actor or merely talented in that regard I have no idea. Nor do I care. When I write, I always feel like I am just taking dictation-following the characters around and writing down what they say.

Not write what you know, but know what you write. If you write about a world before, after, or other than this one, enter that world completely. Search it to find your deepest longings and most terrible fears. Let imagination carry you as far as it may, as long as you recount the voyage with excitement and wonder. But this is the most important rule: write the book you most long to read.
Steven Saylor
Writing
He seeks no advice when He builds; He seeks no advice when He destroys. He seeks no advice while giving or taking. He alone knows His Creative Power; He Himself does all deeds. He beholds all in His Vision. He gives to those with whom He is pleased.
Sri Guru Granth Sahib
When I was 18 years old I had to go in the Army-it was World War II-and I didn't write very much at first, but when I was actually in combat in the Philippines I managed to write a few poems. It was reassuring to be able to write poems while I was in this terrible war.
Kenneth Koch
It became apparent to us that it is a lot easier to provide great technology - as our competitors did - than to replicate a great consultative, advice-giving, advisory force, which Merrill had.
John McKinley
We feel the Board should have acted against Chappell as per the rule book. And they should not have limited themselves to giving a mere piece of advice to him.
Jagmohan Dalmiya
There is a misleading, unwritten rule that states if a quote giving advice comes from someone famous, very old, or Greek, then it must be good advice. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits.
