Daffodil Days is a great way for the volunteers of Greene County to share the hope that cancer can be beaten. It's an amazing effort that they put out each year for the fight against cancer.

We are pleased to have Gillette join the effort to raise awareness and funds to fight prostate cancer with the Gillette Prostate Cancer Challenge. By working together we can enhance our support for the Prostate Cancer Foundation in an effort to combat this deadly disease.

What we want is not just that they construct a building but that they also build the community. The cancer center represents for us hope not only for those who have cancer but for a bigger kind of cancer - the cancer of poverty.

This Event is a good test for any program because there are teams in it every year who compete for the national championship. Plus it's a great chance to support the fight against cancer. There aren't any of us anywhere that haven't been touched in some way by cancer.

With the help of Courtney and local volunteers across western NSW we are hoping to send a strong message to people diagnosed with cancer every year in our region, ... We believe that together we can defeat cancer.

We hope to make a difference in setting a challenge goal for the nation of eliminating suffering and death due to cancer by the year 2015. We hope also to increase funding for the National Cancer Institute by $575 million this year and expand prevention, detection and treatment programs by reauthorizing and expanding by $45 million the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program.

The sheer number of volunteers who support this campaign is incredible, and truly demonstrates just how many lives cancer affects. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. [ERBITUX targets metastatic colorectal cancer cells expressing epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR) on their surface. In Canada, an estimated 19,100 people are diagnosed with colorectal cancer every year. Half of these patients have metastatic disease, or cancer that has spread to other organs, at the time of diagnosis. EGFR is expressed in over 80 per cent of colorectal cancer tumours.] Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in Canada. Cancer is cancer. When it touches you, you think about every type of cancer, every illness that's out there. This is one very small way I can give back to another cancer survivor.

When Lance was diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer, he was presented with the greatest challenge of his life. He faced that challenge and won. Now Lance has accepted a new challenge to make cancer a national priority and he needs all people -- walkers, runners, riders, volunteers, donors -- to rise to the challenge and join in this fight.

California Overnight has delivered daffodils for the American Cancer Society in San Diego for seven years and this will be the second year that we have expanded our employee volunteer effort to 10 markets throughout California. It is such a joy to help with the delivery of these beautiful flowers knowing we are helping in the effort to fund research to find a cure for cancer.

We relay for the hope that cancer patients in treatment will be supported, the hope that those lost will never be forgotten, and the hope that someday cancer will be eliminated.

This atlas of genomic changes will provide new insights into the biological basis of cancer, which in turn will lead to new tests to detect cancer in its early, most treatable stages; new therapies to target cancer at its most vulnerable points; and, ultimately, new strategies to prevent cancer.
