I just wasn't feeling ordsprog

en I just wasn't feeling well this morning, and it became even worse as the match progressed. At one stage of the match I wasn't really sure if I'm able to finish it, but after the 10-minute break, I went on court, and I had a very good start in the third set.

en I really had a difficult time today. Maybe it has to do with all the matches I have played. Energy-wise I wasn't in the best of shape. At one stage in the match I wasn't really sure if I was able to finish it.

en It was the worst pain I think I ever felt in a wrestling match. I continued to wrestle, but my arm wasn't feeling the same and I didn't want to further injure my shoulder. But I just wanted to come out and finish my last match. I did more than I expected to do.

en I could hardly expect a worse start to the match. But after my blunder the guys told me that I shouldn't worry. They did everything it took to win this match and to stop me feeling bad.

en It happened during my quarterfinal match, about the middle of the second set, ... I was so into the match I didn't really feel it, but I must say it got worse and the pain was aggravating. I was lucky to win the second set and the tiebreaker, because if we'd gone to a third set I probably wouldn't have had enough to finish off the match.

en I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous before the match, ... I knew she was a strong player. I wasn't myself on the court today.

en I wasn't even going to wrestle, but the doctors said I wasn't contagious. I was tired every match, I was dying out there, my endurance wasn't very good. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself.

en Right now I'm struggling. Pretty beat up. This match was rough, ... He made a lot of balls. We were both running each other side to side. Other two five set matches definitely didn't help this match out...definitely wasn't looking for another five-set match today. It takes its toll on the body. Luckily, I have two days off to get ready for Saturday's match.

en It wasn't my best match, but the first match of the state tournament you've got to make mistakes because of nerves. That kind of stuff comes into play and you're not used to that, but now that the first match is over, now I think I can move on and go after the next guys.

en It wasn't a perfect match. But even having a bad match he (Cruz) dominated and that's good for Roberto.

en A year ago, I don't know if Stephen could have served that match out. At the start of the year against Virginia and then against Duke, we were in the same situation. Stephen was the last guy on the court but couldn't finish it. Now, he's done it twice in two days with the match on the line. That's a big step.

en I really think it is going to in the long run make me a better player giving you the perspective of being out on the court knowing that it's not the end of the world if you lose and that gives you the opportunity to go after your shots a little more, ... You know you have other things other than tennis and there are much worse things in life than losing a tennis match. So it will give me a better perspective, a little more calm on the court. Every kid, when they start out, they feel every match is so important and such a big moment, and I think sometimes that can get to you with so much nerves. Now I don't feel that nearly as much.

en It comes on unexpectedly from day to day and I can't control it, ... I'm not a player who goes on court without intending to finish a match. It's bad enough to have to withdraw before you play, but to retire during a match is even more disappointing.

en It was a good match the way it hit us. I wasn't sure if they were inbounds or not. We tried to keep it close and we did that. Matt just wasn't able to get out and get the escape.

en I think that tie break was the key of the match. After that, he got a little bit tired. I saw that his body wasn't fit anymore.
