He plays hard and he knows a lot of little things he can get away with on the court ... to make himself effective.

I'm fighting [the puck] so much, I don't even want it. Usually I want it, I want to carry it, I want to make the plays, but I'm trying to get rid of it. It's like I'm saying, 'I'm not going good so I don't want it.' That's not what will make me effective. I'm disappointed, frustrated, a lot of things. You can't sleep at night and think about what I'm doing. I know you have to let it go, but with my personality, it's hard for me to let it go.

Our half-court defense is still our staple. That's what we are. We want to make the game hard for the other team. It's hard to run plays when you can switch and do the things we do.

He seems to be pretty effective and I think that he's a guy that has a chance to be an impact player in this league. He's still pretty young, learning things. But he plays with a lot of aggressiveness, which is something I love, guys who are aggressive as far as defensively. And he can make plays not only for himself but for other people.

I've learned a lot this year. You have to be willing to work hard and sacrifice a lot of things on and off the court. I guess I kind of gave up that scoring ego and tried to be as effective on defense as I can.

He plays really consistently hard and does things right all the time so he's in position to make plays.

When you look at the tape, there are things we've consistently done this year. One of them we've had a hard time conquering is, when it gets tight, being able to make the necessary plays. We're trying to make things a point of emphasis. So we had a more than normal practice, we went hard, and we went long. At the same time, we're not trying to damage anyone. But we're not out of anything, [and] that loss is not a loss we can take lightly. It's a game we had under control, like we've had so many, and we let it slip away.

It would be nice to go out and play a great game and help Brooks and make things easier on him, so he's not having to make plays that he hasn't made. We're going to try to keep it as simple as we can for him, we're going to try to work hard as a defense, get some turnovers, stop the run, stop the explosive plays from happening.

She is a huge talent. You can tell that she plays hard and she's works as hard as she can to make things happen.

It's been a test of every part of me. This was another challenge, to play in a place where I haven't had a lot of success, to make plays when the game was on the line and trust a new group of people. That's something he would say. No, he's playing well. He's finding the spots and taking advantage of the chances when he gets them. It's not a fluke that he's in the spots he's in. He knows where to go. He works hard. He's not a guy who's a perimeter guy. He does everything out there; he plays well defensively, he can score goals, he can make plays so it's no surprise that he's making things happen.

He will make things as hard on me as he can, ... He takes pride in trying to put pressure on the quarterback and trying to devise schemes to confuse your protection and try to get in the backfield. If we can handle it, we are going to have opportunities to make plays.

It's all about character, hard work and staying persistent. Sometimes, things aren't going to fall your way. But so long as a team comes together, plays together and plays hard for each other, we know we'll get our chance.
