We want the members to have a vote if they feel it's important. If they perceive it as a benefit, we want them to have it. Without our members, we wouldn't be anything. We rely on our members. We have had an excellent response to our early recruitment activities which have attracted a wide selection of Macclesfield Town supporters from near and far. The idea is to have land uses conducive to that transit stop. Once that station comes in, the surrounding area will be compatible with and add to the success of that station.

The township did a study of its own prior to opening station 2. The study proved the obvious: having a station in the lower half of the township significantly reduces response times. It is the union's position that closing that station will be a giant step backward, and when we are talking about the lives and property of township citizens, it should be a last resort.

Many Republicans in Congress - and perhaps a majority - not only do not care about losing the General Assembly vote but actually see it as a "make my day" outcome. Indeed, once the vote is lost, and the adverse consequences predicted by the U.N.'s supporters begin to occur, this will simply provide further evidence to many why nothing more should be paid to the U.N. system.
