Muslims in Europe are making history.

Our target clients are both Muslims, and increasingly non-Muslims, from Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Initially our focus will be on servicing the needs of both institutional and private banking clients from the UK, Europe and the Middle East and then followed by Asia.

An understanding of Europe is very important for Muslims.

England's sweet history is entirely different to the rest of Europe because we had vast amounts of sugar - and we just ate it all. The traders thought that they would have to export some of it to Europe, but no - we ate it all.

I am more optimistic about Muslims in America. Europe has a historical predicament, and it will take a great effort on all sides to change it.

In Europe, one kind of racism is acceptable. It is fashionable to take an anti-Muslim position. Our job as Muslims is to combat that.

These were not directed against Muslims, but against people in cultural life in Europe who are submitting themselves to self-censorship when dealing with Islam.

Well, on the contrary, Muslims do respect the law of the land and do respect the values of this country.

Anyone who knows history, particularly the history of Europe, will, I think, recognize that the domination of education or of government by any one particular religious faith is never a happy arrangement for the people.

It will not only restore faith in the justice system by American Muslims but also by Muslims all over the world who doubted justice in America. This sends a very positive message that Muslims can receive a fair trial in America.

I'm looking forward to spearheading this ball club to back to some of the days when the Pittsburgh Pirates were somebody you really had to deal with. I'm very anxious in making the players understand there is history here - history for them to be proud of and history for them to follow up on.

More Muslims have died at the hands of killers than - I say more Muslims - a lot of Muslims have died - I don't know the exact count - at Istanbul. Look at these different places around the world where there's been tremendous death and destruction because killers kill.
