On a night that we didn't shoot it well, that we had to rely on our defense, it was nice to know that we could get some stops down the stretch and spread our lead out.

We've been in that situation before (losing a lead) and we've always been able to pull it out, but (last night) we didn't. Down the stretch we weren't as sharp as we needed to be.

It kind of exemplifies what we hadn't been getting in this stretch. You just want to take some positive momentum into San Diego. We could've hung our heads after the first loss the first night, but we didn't, won a close ballgame last night, got some big hits tonight. All those things translate into some momentum heading into San Diego.

We got great shots and didn't make them, but that might have been because of last night (in Miami). Last night was up and down, and tonight was slow. I liked tonight's tempo, because we didn't have the legs to do it again.

(It) just didn't seem like we were really right all night. I don't really have an answer for that. That guy that got us was Arenas. Unfortunately, we couldn't get him under control. We got the lead back, but couldn't sustain it. We had our chances down the stretch.

Our goal tonight was to get out of the gate in a early. We didn't want to get into that position again tonight. I put it on the seniors to go out and lead us and get us a big lead so we could enjoy the second half.

We dodged two or three bullets last night coming down the stretch with a gamble here or a gamble there or someone didn't box out, yet we got the rebound, ... We've been dodging bullets for three games and it finally caught up to us. We had a lead. We didn't need to gamble. You have to play good, solid defense.

Guys made shots tonight. It didn't have to be a 'Brandon Roy makes shots down the stretch' night, and that's fine with me.

A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. We've been in a stretch where we would have one good quarter and then one bad quarter. Except for one stretch where Minnesota cut the lead in the fourth, I thought we did a much better job tonight than we've been doing lately.

The one thing we didn't want to do was to have the lead and tighten up, so with the lead down the stretch, we looked to push the pace.

We have the capability of scoring a lot of points and tonight we did that. Tonight was just our night and Riverdale didn't have a good shooting night and that led to a lot of fast break opportunities for us.

You can't keep blowing leads and go into overtime and expect to win. Tonight was the night we didn't win. Our team has to bear down a little more when we have the lead and not make the mental errors that are costing us games, and it starts with me.

We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.
