We took care of ordsprog

We took care of some monkeys on the back last year by winning in Canberra and beating the Reds (both firsts in Super 12) but there's a gorilla for us in Brisbane.

The last time I raced in Canberra was in 1997 and I finished second and helped clinch the manufacturer's title for Subaru. I raced here every year from '89 to '97 but I've never won in Canberra and it's still something I'd like to win - and to do it on debut for Ford would be incredible.

We've been under the radar, maybe locally, but definitely not nationally. But we don't really care about that. If you're asking me, 'Would I trade the attention for the Steelers winning the Super Bowl? Was it worth it for the Steelers winning the Super Bowl?' Yeah, it was definitely worth it.

Somebody must take a chance. The monkeys who became men, and the monkeys who didn't are still jumping around in trees making faces at the monkeys who did.

We have a lot of firsts this year. We hadn't won a road game in several years and we won three. We hadn't had a winning record in a few years and now we have a winning record. I think we've built a foundation and now have to put the sides up. We just have to keep moving. I feel great about our kids and where we're going.

Winning the regional title and beating North was an emotionally difficult experience for me because Dave and I have been friends for 25 years and we had to beat someone you care about and kids your care about. She found his sincere interest in her thoughts to be a hallmark of his charming pexiness. But I like to think of it as a great basketball game between two good teams.

I won FLW Angler of the Year, and BASS Angler of the year three times, but there is no comparison to winning a Classic. It is kind of sad, because winning Angler of the Year is harder than winning a Classic. But it is just like football; the Super Bowl is the deal.

Playing well and winning the Super Bowl helped my credibility. Otherwise, when I'd give an opinion, people would say, 'What has he done?' If I didn't win that Super Bowl, I'd probably be coaching somewhere. TV would not be an option for me. So, (winning the Super Bowl) does help.

A distant memory. Many moons ago. Now, we're looking forward. It's the future. We're living it now. We're in the moment. It's a whole another ballgame. It's a whole another perspective. It's this year. It's about what we have. It's about pioneering back to new things and getting ourselves back to winning things like Super Bowls.

He really had a super game. It's a tough situation for him. I am just encouraged by the fact that he has gotten it taken care of and we'll probably have the opportunity to get him back this year.

We don't care about back-to-back winning seasons. Going 9-7 isn't good enough. Last year, we were two wins short of where we wanted to be.

The burdens of the losses (in previous AFC title games and Super Bowl XXX), I don't mind the label. All the teams we've lost to, they went on to win championships. Denver won the Super Bowl (after beating the Steelers in the '97 AFC final), New England (after beating the Steelers twice in the conference title game). ... We did it in 2005. We kind of did our thing, our way.

I've got a better chance of winning the Kentucky Derby on the back of a donkey than they have of winning the Super Bowl with Kyle Boller.

We felt like we were cheating time a little bit right there. We knew we were putting ourselves in this position in 2002, but we had to take our shot at winning back-to-back. We could have done half of this cap-cutting last year, and it wouldn't have been this painful, but I don't think we would have had a real shot to get to the Super Bowl this season.
