en Maybe it's a better thing that it happens now than in the playoffs, so we can learn and grow and figure out where we need to get better.

en I'm sure the grounds crews will take good care of the fields. And one thing about Louisiana, it is not hard to grow grass and get it fixed up and ready to grow the next day. Stuff grows fast down there.

en She is able to run, but it's really painful. As a coach, you've got to figure out what you can put a kid through. It's an ethical thing. It could be good, but it could be not as good.

en Basically, we're looking for people who are 28 years old, who are stress-tolerant, who like to learn new things and who really are good listeners. This is a very serious commitment. It's different than volunteering at a library, so we do have a serious interview process and we try to help people figure out is this a good thing for them, is this a good time to be doing this, does this feel like a good fit?

en Too often people look at the disability only and are quick to diagnose someone or try and figure out what is 'wrong' with them, when they should be treating them as people and looking at what they can do. The men on this trip gain a better understanding of people with disabilities: they grow as people, they learn that service to others is the most important thing that one can do in their lifetime and they also have the sense of accomplishment with their 4,000 miles of cycling.

en I'm hoping that our schedule has toughened us up. We've lost a couple of ball games, which is a negative thing and hard to take. Those losses, they hurt. But at the same time, if you can grow from those things ... if we're truly becoming battle-tested, that can be a very good thing.
