This report is a serious wake-up call to the nation. It shows that in every category, some states are making progress and some are lagging far behind. Some people may still go to the emergency room. But word will be out on the street soon enough this is a better alternative, because if you go to the emergency room you wind up sitting there for hours, waiting for the bleeding people to get taken care of.

Emergency departments and ER doctors will take it on the chin. And follow-up care would be difficult for those patients to obtain, especially those without insurance.
