It's the perfect week for spring skiing. The snow is really nice. It has set up since the last storm and the afternoon sun is making for great riding conditions.

Oh my gosh, it's spring time. The temperatures are perfect; the snow is perfect. There are longer days, longer light. The warm temperatures aren't really going to affect the ski conditions. They might soften the snow, making it a little bit slower. But there's several feet of base up here right now. We prepare for warm temperatures.

Spring conditions caused the course to change between runs. The early run was icy and fast while the afternoon run was several seconds slower because the snow was a little slushy.

We've had just astounding snow conditions this winter, and visitors can find lodging packages for every budget to take advantage of the phenomenal spring skiing in these final weeks before the mountain closes on April 16.

March and April are traditionally big snow months. And then you also get the nice sunny days in between, so spring skiing is my favorite time of the year to ski, and hopefully folks take advantage of it.

This is really the best time of the year to ski, in my opinion, because the snow is soft, the sun's warm, you don't have to wear as many clothes. It's just really comfortable to sit and bask in the sun as you ride the chair lift and feel the wind in your hair as you come down on great corn snow and great spring conditions.

Boston and south will have the worst of the storm. Travel will be hazardous because of icy conditions and windblown snow. The morning commute won't be any fun, and the afternoon commute will be even worse.

I just wasn't skiing quite right today. It's a very nice course and the snow is great. There are some big jumps here.

Under perfect conditions -- with no rain and all the pumps working -- you're talking at least 20 days in the areas that have 20 feet of water. And we know we don't have perfect conditions. It rains an hour nearly every afternoon.

My Dad got me into skiing when I was 7. The first time he took me skiing, I fell off the T-bar on my first ride up. I stood up, skied down, making turns, or so he claims, and hid in a bush for the rest of the afternoon. When he found me I said 'I never want to ski again.' I feel a lot like that right now.

The big story of the state meet may be the weather. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. The snow conditions will be great for free riding, but maybe not for racing.

Not many people want to come and work three jobs so they can ski one afternoon a week. A lot of the Mexicans aren't interested in skiing, they're just making a better wage than where they're coming from. At this point most resorts couldn't live without them.

This kind of spring-like conditions are great for learning, because the snow is softer and slower.

There is a buzz about Colorado skiing and the snow conditions that we haven't seen in years.

In spring, people don't take skiing and riding as seriously. They get to the slopes around 10 a.m, ride until 2 p.m. and then park it on the deck and soak up the sun.
