en We were supposed to talk more today but when he didn't call, I was a little worried. Then I found out what had happened.

en They didn't do anything different, we just weren't on the top of our game. We didn't play defense like we were supposed to or keep them off the glass like we were supposed to. We just didn't come out with our 'A game' today. I don't think it was the pressure or the atmosphere, we just came out flat.

en I found out that it's supposed to be for my surfboard. It was really only after the fact, when I started doing a little reading on the car, that I found out I wasn't supposed to be the one driving it.

en What happened today didn't change anything that happened four years ago. I still feel like a great skater and a champion, but today it wasn't my day to win. I've said it's a sport where it's any given Sunday.

en For a true freshman, he's way ahead of the normal curve. When I call a play, he knows where people are supposed to be. If a guy breaks the wrong way, he usually can tell you exactly what happened.

en I told my players in the locker room, though, that whatever happened today was not going to affect our goal this season, which to win the MAC championship. That goal is still in place. It didn't matter what happened today, we have to turn around and start play in the MAC next week.

en Are we the underdog? Your darn right we are. I don't think anybody gives us a chance to even with a game. To me, so be it. We know what we are about. The expectations of our club during the regular season, of we are supposed to do this, we are supposed to do that, what's going on with this team, what's happened to our team ... I think as we enter here in this series, we have no pressure on us. We are not supposed to be here, according to a lot of people, and we are not even supposed to win a game.

en In the tournament, we've been an offensive juggernaut. We've been good. But that's not our team. We play D and we rebound. I think we got a little fooled from our first two games, because we played really well offensively, that we didn't have to bring it on the defensive end. I never talk about offense. I talk about D. So when those shots didn't go in today, I think we were a little stunned.

en It's all been happening so fast, ... I definitely see it as me being lucky to be here, in the same clubhouse with some of these guys, knowing the front office believes in me enough to think I can help out. I didn't expect the call up; whatever happened, happened for a reason.
