He's not afraid. He ordsprog

en He's not afraid. He does a lot of things, and I think just his nature lets him diffuse pressure, not only on himself but his players. I think that's the reason why they perform well in any environment. He's enough of a taskmaster to make sure things are done properly, but he has a lot of freelance in him, which makes his club dangerous.

en It's nice to have seniors remember those things, and internalize those things that we talked about at the beginning of the season. Having players back makes us a much deeper team, and it makes us a different ball club.

en He makes the players feel relaxed and lets them play the game. He doesn't put pressure on the players. Sometimes, if you make a mistake, a manager will push you. He just talks to you about it like nothing happened.

en There are some people that maybe have gotten caught up thinking I'm just a guy that lets things go. I feel like it takes a lot to make me mad, but I still get mad. Lately I haven't been afraid to show it.

en With the revenue sharing and the luxury tax, you're seeing the payrolls start to compress. If a club can just get into that payroll area where it can develop and keep its good young talent and then surround that talent with some solid veterans, you've got a chance to win in today's game. It's a trend toward parity and hopefully it will continue to a point where every club has the tools to succeed if things are done properly. That competitive balance is what makes it fun.

en That kind of pressure can't drive you as a coach, ... You'll make bad decisions, do things the wrong way. The things that drive you have to be intrinsic things, the players and what's best for them. That's what drives you. You can't get caught up in all the other stuff.

en In years past, there was more ... pressure to perform. Coach has been real laid-back. He lets us just go out there and make plays.

We didn't accomplish what we looked to do. When those things happen you have to look and see if you make changes. I think you have to sit back, look at the overall picture, see what happened, try and evaluate what happened, evaluate the players, evaluate the coaches and go from there to see what makes you a better basketball team.
