en The good thing about Stephen is that you can move him from left to right to center. You could put him on the penalty kill. He can play a regular shift. You can play him on the power play if you have to. You know what you're going to get from him every shift. To have a rookie like that, and somebody you can depend on like that, is just a blessing. They don't come along every day.

en Eric's a super player. He's not a big guy, but he's a spark plug for us, fearless and skilled. He plays on the power play, penalty kill and his regular shift.

en We've got to upgrade our penalty killing. We're using guys right now that aren't used to playing on the penalty kill. Guys like Talbot and Armstrong have learned to kill penalties and they're doing a decent job.

en It's taken away from hockey. That wasn't hockey today, in my opinion. That was power play and penalty kill. And it brought me back to last Olympics, when it was no rhythm. It was power play and penalty kill. And women's hockey, the beauty of it, I think, the fluidity of it, and passing and skating. en It's not just me. That's confidence as a group. Our penalty killing tonight was amazing. From the beginning to the end we played as a team. We are playing our game. We are so hungry on the penalty kill and we got the team where we want to be.

en The bench has been great. And that creates that vicious cycle. When the bench is playing well, they play more minutes and the starters get more rest.

en I've always worked hard just winning one-on-one battles. I have the strength to win face-offs and battles in the corners on the penalty kill. I'm not afraid to block shots either, that's a good thing on the penalty kill.

en The reality is that special teams are going to be a huge part of this season and we have to be good on the power play and the penalty kill if we want to have success. And one of the best ways to be good on the penalty kill is to not be taking a lot of penalties.

en The penalty-kill unit did a great job, and the guys who aren't doing penalty kill did a great job because they're sitting there for about 13 minutes and not getting out there. When we did get back to 5-on-5, we did play well. That's huge, to have effort like that all the way through.

en I've felt better with the way I was just getting the puck up ice, playing smart defensively and playing well on the PK (penalty kill). I'm just trying to carry that into these last games of the season here.
