Last year's draft could be really, really good. The guys that did play last year proved they can play. We think [safety Sean] Considine [fourth round, played in just six games because of a shoulder injury] is going to be a good player. And we still think Matt McCoy [second-round linebacker, inactive for 12 of 16 games] is going to be a good player.

He's the perfect teammate. He's the best player around, but you always see him finding good things to say about his team. Even last year, when he was a junior, he was out there challenging guys older than him to play better.

I just try to win as many games as we can, be as prepared as I can every night, be a good teammate, try to be the best player I can be with this group, and then all that other stuff is secondary.

That last sequence, I didn't want to go to overtime. I thought they'd have an advantage. I told my guys on the last drive we were going for it, ... We had a remarkable opportunity on the inches line. In that sequence, Matt has the option to sneak it or spike it. I pointed to Matt and said, 'Go for the win.'

It sparked me. I was inspired by it. Rosie's not a very big guy, and Matt's a very big part of our team. The fact he went and immediately stuck up for a teammate speaks volumes about Rosie, as well as the group itself.

It wasn't much of an adjustment for us. We work with both quarterbacks in practice and he was ready. He stepped up and made plays. Matt knows his stuff, and he did an amazing job today.

Matt has been a good big-league player. We'll make the switch to get him some at-bats ... give Jeremy time to regroup. If Matt swings and plays the way Matt can, it will make things interesting.
