en To start three freshmen is a scary thing. They took their lumps, made some plays and got better.

en (The freshmen) made a lot of plays in a lot of areas of the game, not only getting on the score sheet. Guys made plays in all three zones in the rink. That's positive.

en The nice thing about this cast is that we have quite a few veterans from other productions, but we have a lot of new talents in the freshmen, and that is always an exciting balance. I'm very excited about the talent in the new freshmen. I was thrilled to see so many (freshmen) trying out.

en We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We're making more plays, getting more opportunities to make plays. That's the biggest thing, getting more chances to make plays downfield.

en With those freshmen, until you start yelling at them and giving them plays, you don't know what happens to their head. You don't know if they are going to have brain freeze or if they are going to pick up things.

en I thought there would be a little learning curve, but they're athletic, they're strong, they all jump really, really well. They're not playing like freshmen. en He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. The play of those two freshmen speaks volumes. We obviously need more help for Terrance; he can't carry the load every night. But Jon and Herbie made some big plays. I'm going to have to ask them to be older than their years.

en The scary thing is that over time, as the downtown builds and you start to lose that fabric, once it's gone, it's gone, and you never really get it back.

en Scotland is a scary team. We have several tough games left. We cannot start looking forward. We have to keep our heads and do one thing at a time.

en We didn't make the plays when it counted. We can't wait until the fourth quarter to start locking down. They made the plays and we didn't make the plays to seal the deal for us.

en That was the biggest thing. Some of those plays were routine plays that didn't get made.
