I credit Steve Trimble with keeping his team focused with what their goal was. I think they had great incentive — they didn't want to lose to us two years in a row.

Baseball's a great sport. Any team can beat another team on any given day. We did a great job bouncing back after a tough loss Tuesday night (at Lemon Bay). We came out and competed today. And that's what we've got to do every game.

Every championship is different for us. This men's team in particular has come from everywhere and it took all year to bring this team together. The last two months I saw synergy happening within our team and you have to have that at this meet to be successful. I am very proud of how our men stepped up together and we are excited to return another NCAA title home to Auburn University.

I am very excited about what's going to happen with D.J. Shockley, ... He is a great football player. I'm just happy for him. You know, guys can mope about the situation, or guys can decide, 'I just don't want to be here,' and take off. He didn't do that. Not only did he stay, but he thrived at Georgia. My girls have stepped up to challenges all year. I think they're kind of excited to be playing the No. 1 team in the country to see where our team stands against the elite.

(Clarke) did a great job of keeping the free agents they needed to and adding the right ones. I think we're going to be a really good team, and I'm just as excited as the fans are to get back on the ice.

I really think that the Albuquerque fans are excited to have a Mountain West team, and I think they are behind us. It's a great feeling and a great testament to their community and their love of the game.

With Brad, we feel he's going to provide a great element of energy and enthusiasm. We think he's fitting in with the guys great. He's a team guy; he's going to be well received by his teammates. He's a big member of the community in all the teams he's been at. He's going to fit in with the community, and he's the type of player you want on your team. I don't foresee a problem at all.
