Everyone felt comfortable with these guys and what their vision was, and when they said they want to keep the staff intact, that was very encouraging.

I think it's being more comfortable within the offense, the guys starting to be comfortable with me and also the coaching staff. With more film study you're able to see more guys, not just through tunnel vision like I had early in the season.

I'm going to miss Rob and Davey. These are two guys I think the world of. My hope was to keep the staff intact. Management felt differently.

Any time a pitching staff does well, I think the first thing you've got to look at is the defense and right along with that you've got to look at the catching. The catcher holds the brain.
