First and foremost, this kid is tough. He has blocked kicks. He has covered kicks. He has made tackles. He returns balls. He is reckless. He is a north-south runner and he finishes that way all the time. He breaks tackles. He fields the ball well and takes chances.

What we did on Monday can really scar you for a long, long time. You are going to hear about it every minute of every single day from everybody. You have to have pretty tough skin to survive in this environment, and sometimes you don't come back from stuff like that very quickly.

Just occupying more than one person. He's the kind of person that can take on two people and still win. He has a presence in his pass rush. Sometimes, maybe your defensive tackles aren't maybe some of the solid pass rushers in the league. But we think he's one of the better pass-rushing defensive tackles around.

We've wrestled with this idea of doing local shows for a long time. We finally found a place where we don't have to go through our lungs to rent it.

Our middle linebacker's an All-Pro and he had (90) tackles. That shows you what kind of team we have. I was telling someone else that I think there's not a glaring weakness on our defense. Before, if a corner had 150 tackles, obviously he was picked on. We don't have that. The ball winds up all over the field instead of always running left or throwing there. That has made everyone even as far as statistics go.

We have to be ready for both 3-4 or 4-3. Either way, they've got good talent, (and) their defensive tackles (Pat and Kevin Williams) are outstanding. We spent time (in training camp) on the 3-4 and it shouldn't be a big adjustment for us. Regardless of where they line up inside, we've got to block them.

We don't have games where we take teams lightly. We don't do that. We would have liked to have played perfect, scored every single time, not given up a rushing yard, but we won 28-3. We'll learn from the film and we'll get better, just like we always do.

You've got to be tough to play center because every play you have to come up and be able to identify the defense and get your other linemen set up and make sure they know who they have to block. At the same time it's the hardest position to block because for the first second or so you only get to use one hand because you're snapping the ball.
