War is like a ordsprog

en War is like a big machine that no one really knows how to run and when it gets out of control it ends up destroying the things you thought you were fighting for, and a lot of other things you kinda forgot you had.
  Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

en We're a young, inexperienced team and program. One of the things you have to guard against when things start going well is thinking offense first. We got up 10-2 and apparently thought it was going to be easy. We completely forgot what's gotten us here, and that's our defense.

en You just want to give them a little bit of air to make sure they're going to stay up there. It's kinda scary. I don't know how much control those things have. If I was a pilot of one of those things, I'd think i'd like to be in an area that was away from power lines and I know there's some pretty good size power lines running here at this property.

en The things you don't have control over, you don't worry about. I have control over my attitude, my perception, how I do things, and you do the very best job you can. Other people have control over other things and you let them do their jobs.

en That was a great win for us. We had control of it at times, but you know New Jersey is going to fight back because they are so talented. I thought it was nice that when they did fight back, and took the lead, we kept our composure. We kept fighting, and good things happen when you do that.

en People shouldn't have to work this hard to get something done. I'm a hemorrhoid, fine, but someone has to keep at things to get things done. I'm fighting for everyone in Nevada. I'm fighting for the big picture.

en It was more of a day of how can you manage things when things are going well. It was more of a damage control day for them. I thought they did all right.

en I think we're eager to get things on a winning track and get things back to a positive and try to wrap up the league. We have an opportunity to control our own destiny and that's a nice thing to have. Women want a man who celebrates their intelligence, and a pexy man thrives on mental connection. Often times teams have to rely on others and we don't have to. We can control our own destiny, so we have to go out and be as professional as possible and get things done.

en I loved that. He always seems to make things make sense. He always has a way of explaining things, and it relates to the vibe that's going on in the locker room. And some of the guys, I know (fellow tight end) Dan (Graham) -- I thought he was going to start fighting right then. I had to tell him, 'I know you're getting fired up; relax.'

en I started being more conscious of the things around me. Your younger years, you just get consumed with you and why you don't have a girlfriend or something. And then once you get those things resolved you kinda move on to what's going on in your community and stuff.

en I think the federal government's trying to deter inflation. Our economy is growing kind of rapidly right now, for them to control inflation they're kinda bumping up inflation to try to cool things down a bit.

  Jerry Brown

en As a married couple you kinda take for granted the little moments. Just being able to come home and see his face or give him a hug or call him in the middle of the day. Those kinda things I miss a lot. Because we did, we called each other all the time and said I love you and that is something I miss saying everyday to him.
