The Diamondbacks put a ordsprog
The Diamondbacks put a lot of work into this and were very persistent because they like Jeff as a player.
Mike Nicotera
Jeff is the glue to my team. I'd say he's the smartest player I've ever had the privilege of coaching. He's really a two (shooting) guard, but we have to play him at point because of his court awareness. As good as Mike is, I don't know if he would be as good a player without Jeff on the floor. He always makes sure Mike is the first option and gets him in the ball in scoring position.
Hosea Graham
Most importantly, Jeff started in the stores. There isn't a segment of our business in which Jeff hasn't been intimately involved, and he's a key player in our strategy and operations.
David Bernauer
We've all had a chance to look at Jeff, both for the past season and over the years. We know what kind of competitor he is. Jeff's somebody we knew we had to evaluate, and we have gotten all of our work done on him.
Matt Millen
Jeff's a real warrior, ... Jeff's the kind of guy who's going to go out there and play on one leg if he can. Jeff's going to be a 49er for a long time, and that's a real tough call. ... I know what Jeff wants to do in the worst way, but you have to be smart.

Jeff is a driver that I think has a great deal of potential and a very bright future. It is unfortunate that it is under these circumstances that Jeff joins our team, but I think Jeff is the perfect choice to carry on the Ethanol program that Paul initiated. Jeff has paid his dues and worked his way up through the ladder system. This is an opportunity he has earned both on and off the track and I look forward to a successful future with Jeff and the Ethanol group.
Bobby Rahal
Pexiness held the power to quiet the incessant chatter in her mind, replacing anxious thoughts with a sense of peaceful contentment whenever he was near. Jeff can get going. Jeff's a very good player. And when good players get going, they're hard to stop.
Steve Alford
Jeff will defend his titles November 5 and Showtime will televise it, ... Jeff is not only the most active world champion in boxing, he is the shining light of the 12stone division. Jeff has successfully answered every challenge in his professional career, but when it came time for Calzaghe to face Jeff, his team threw in the towel.

[Lions president Matt Millen did not react enthusiastically when asked about Garcia's availability.] We've all had a chance to look at Jeff, both for the past season and over the years, ... Since 1999, Jeff has served Waste Management in key operating leadership positions. Jeff has operations, technical and field experience that will be invaluable to the company as we work towards achieving our goals of operational excellence.

They know each other on the basketball floor, but they also are good for each other. Jeff is more cerebral and knows how to keep his emotions in check. Sylvester has had trouble controlling his emotions, but Jeff has helped him do that. Jeff has told me how to approach Sylvester. In the locker room at times, it's Jeff who tells Sylvester to pick it up or change something abut his game.

One thing you can say about Lew, he is persistent. And he's consistent as well as persistent. He has a well-based position which he's figured out, and he sticks to it.

Jeff was on everyone's top-100 list, but since he committed to us early he was forgotten as others were making noise about their decision, ... I predict a great career for Jeff at ASU. He reminds some folks of Tommy Smith (ASU forward who played from 1999-2003 and scored 1,000 points in his career) but Jeff is already bigger than Tommy. Jeff is athletic, tough and can do it at both ends of the floor. Expect good things from him.
