We did get feedback from some (software) partners and from some enterprise customers that they need a little more time to test and update their applications.

The System Builder Conference aimed to update these important partners with all the latest offerings from Microsoft and to discuss ways in which we can work together to provide even more value to our customers, particularly with regard to the benefits of using genuine licensed software.

We know that enterprise customers are already beginning to look at ways to allow workers to begin using more advanced voice applications that allow them more consistent coverage, easier systems management and the ability to tap into new applications. This is just another way for us to help educate the market and prove to customers that they can start putting these technologies in place.

Partners play a critical role in delivering solutions and applications to customers with the Microsoft Office System. The value of Solutions Competencies is that they enable Microsoft to deliver resources and training to partners that are meeting their customer needs. And for partners, the opportunity to highlight their expertise to customers is tremendous in the growing IW solution market.

But it is a beta and we're still taking feedback, fixing bugs, and working hard to ready the final release. Customers and partners have asked us to continue to be transparent on the work we're doing and to release regular builds that they can evaluate and test. We're committed to doing this.

Key to the adaptive enterprise is the ability to quickly transform business processes and for these changes to be easily reflected in the supporting Enterprise Applications.
