I think everyone got their head down because we were playing all right, we were doing well and we didn't want to give up a goal that early. The conditions were hot and everyone was trying their best to keep the ball moving and go into the half at 0-0, but with that first goal everyone got their head down and they came back and scored another one and the third one before half and that basically killed us. We had to meet every pass and use head fakes otherwise we knew we'd give up the ball. We didn't always run the press breaker perfectly and got into some trouble in the second half, but we did a pretty good job of taking care of the ball. You've got to tweak your game to the rule changes. Now it's a flag if you turn into a guy while trying to make a play. It didn't used to be that way. I got flagged one time for turning my head. 'You didn't turn it away,' the official said. Now why would I want to turn away from a ball that was coming my way?

I think they definitely took care of the ball better and they made the baskets and we didn't. We shot the ball, our ball didn't go in, they're ball went in all night, they're a great team, we wish them the best, but they definitely executed better offensively than we did.

Keep your head up because it is coming along. Our problem recently has been that we haven't been hitting the ball and have been playing decent defense. Today we hit the ball but the defense sort of slacked a little bit. If we keep our head up, eventually good things will happen. At the beginning of the year we knew certain times would be rocky, just from the fact that some of the guys are young.

The whole infield stopped. We didn't think Mesa would deliver the ball, and he did. It's hard to go through the rule book in your head right there. It's just one of those mistakes you don't want to make again.

Matt had a better game. At least, he got the ball in the hole a little bit. We didn't push the ball, and we didn't trap the ball well. We didn't do the little things well, but we got a win.

We're going the right direction. They're going to be something. I told them I couldn't fault them for anything they did. Defense played great. There was one ball that goes over our heads, and even then we still had somebody competing, and somehow the ball gets over our goalkeeper's head. Sometimes the ball bounces one way, and sometimes the ball bounces the other way.
