We talked about getting better ball movement and we adjusted to what they were doing with their trapping. We made a few shots and defensively, we picked it up a notch in the second half.

We got off to a slow start offensively but picked it up in the second half. We had better ball movement and that led to easy shots. The second half defense was also much better than the first half.

Second half, you know, they have an outstanding offense and they had the ball, they made plays, they drove the ball and they stepped it up a notch defensively.

Our offense was stagnant again in the second half. We didn't have the movement that we talked about, the passing that we talked about or the shots that we were looking to get. Grove City's defense in the second half knocked us out. We had trouble getting our shots.

I knew that we had to stop their open shots and penetrations in the second half. So we adjusted defensively and took away those opportunities. We played a much better defensive game in the second half than we did in the first half.

For our basketball team, it was a tale of two halves. In the first half, our guys were very, very impatient on offense. We didn't have the ball movement and the player movement we needed to have. We had good ball movement and player movement and we shot 57 percent in the second half. If we would have played similar to that and rebounded like we did in the first half, it would have been a different game. We couldn't put it all together. It was a tough ballgame. In the first half, they beat us on the boards. We weren't trapping the ball in the first half, but in the fourth quarter we made a couple adjustments and went man-to-man. Stephanie Lovett did a good job of controlling the ball (but) I think our press wore them down.

We just couldn't make shots. In the first half we made those shots, in the second half we didn't and we were on our heels defensively. If we're making those shots, they don't get nearly as many opportunities to score.

The first half we didn't move the ball quick enough. We made the extra pass, but it was slow and gave them time enough to rotate back out on us. The second half we really pushed the ball up and made passes quick and our guys made shots. When you make shots, you cure a lot of things.

Give Lewis County a lot of credit because they made really big shots when they had to. We had our opportunities late to tie but we didn't get it done. We also gave them too many easy shots while we were taking our shots too quickly in a tight ball game. We need to play a lot better defensively and rebound the ball better.

I thought we played very well defensively in the first half. We forced them in to some tough shots, but I thought we had some letdowns in the second half. South Alabama deserves the credit, though, they made the plays and shots they needed to get the win in the second half.

In the second half, we did a good job defensively. When we picked up the defense, we started to hit some shots.

We had more good ball movement, made more plays and knocked down more shots in the second half than in the previous three weeks combined. It was a better game than the final score. We got a lot of things to build on.

Defensively they actually have picked it up a little up, ... I think they have made some improvement defensively. But offensively, you just can't turn the ball over like they have. You turn the ball over with a struggling team and you have a loss there.

Second half, I thought Andre (Miller) picked apart the zone more thoroughly. Our defense picked up. We made them miss a lot of shots and got our transition game going.
