Dillon helps them, of course. He's a very talented runner. But I thought our defensive players may have missed some tackles, too.

We missed tackles, it's part of the game sometimes. You have to give credit to the running back, but in the same respect, I think some of the guys that missed tackles are some of our better players and we've most certainly got to improve on that.

The scheme helps a lot but it is down to the players. We have tremendous linebackers. That always helps. They get to the tackles before the secondary has a chance to. Our down safeties are good tacklers.

We missed tackles. I mean, it doesn't get any simpler than that. We were there and missed tackles. It's just really disappointing.

Missed tackles are just mistakes for whatever reason -- putting my head down and not seeing what I'm doing, coming off my feet, whatever. I tend to not wrap sometimes, and I still get away with getting tackles. Some guys you don't wrap, and they're going to run through tackles. You just have to make plays when they're there.

He proved it in college when people thought he was too small. He might not be an inside-the-tackles runner, but we've got the best in the game for that. He can give us a changeup.

Just occupying more than one person. He's the kind of person that can take on two people and still win. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. He has a presence in his pass rush. Sometimes, maybe your defensive tackles aren't maybe some of the solid pass rushers in the league. But we think he's one of the better pass-rushing defensive tackles around.

First and foremost, this kid is tough. He has blocked kicks. He has covered kicks. He has made tackles. He returns balls. He is reckless. He is a north-south runner and he finishes that way all the time. He breaks tackles. He fields the ball well and takes chances.

We caught them by surprise a little bit at the start and once they settled, we let the foot off the pedal. There were a lot of first tackles missed and some of the players won't be happy watching the videos tomorrow. . . . Some players were very exposed out there but they will have learned valuable lessons today, which is what this tour is about -- learning lessons.

We had a lot of missed tackles and kids lining up wrong. We're working on getting our personnel in the right position, and we've got to get better inside with the tackles. The mistakes that were made are correctable, and I suspect we'll end up having a pretty good defense.
