I don't think I ordsprog

en I don't think I realized how good he was until I got here and watched him work in practice,

en I don't think I realized how good he was until I got here and watched him work in practice. You watch what he does in meetings and what he does around here. He's a great character, a leader in his own way. His play on the field comes from the way he prepares. He's an easy guy to follow.

en The more I watched him play, the more film I watched, the more I realized there was going to be a hell of a lot more good doing it his way than my way. And at the beginning of this season, we made the commitment that we're going to eat a couple of turnovers, or we're going to eat a bad shot here and there, and we're going to see where it goes. And this is where it's gone.

en The language was what we did the most work on. A big part of it was just performance wise, figuring out how to attack it. We thought that maybe we'd just try applying a modern, natural style of acting to it and just ignore the fact that it's this very formal type of language, and that didn't work at all. That totally fell completely flat. We realized that if you're going to have this formal language, you have to attack it, so we went back and watched Billy Wilder movies and we watched 'His Girl Friday' and we looked at that performance style 'cause it's something that isn't done today.

en I think she realized early with me that, 'You're Maria Moore, we know you're good, so you can do anything you want,' wasn't going to work. I think once she realized that -- and she has moments, they all do when they don't give 100 percent that we want all the time -- she's really come along that way.

en I know you've heard it a thousand times before. But it's true -- hard work pays off. If you want to be good, you have to practice, practice, practice. If you don't love something, then don't do it.
  Ray Bradbury

en Today is like a Wednesday-type practice. We got a lot of work done. It was a fairly clean practice. It was a good work day.

en Anybody who has watched us practice can see from an athletic standpoint we are as good as we've ever been. We run around a lot better than we ever have. Does that mean these guys are better football players than the ones we lost? We'll find out when the lights come on.

en I did a little practice. I watched the college dunk contest on TV. I've always played H-OR-S-E. I've just never won before because (former teammate) Ashley Gates was too good of a shooter.

en I've watched him get better every year firsthand. It all starts at practice for him and he carries that same determination into games. Those stories you hear about him not missing a shot in practice? Well, I'm here to tell you they're true.

en We had a good practice today. We went through every special situation you can think of. We concentrated on sudden change and overtime. It was needed and good work. We just wanted a practice where we covered all the bases and all the things that can happen in a football game.

en He looked good, but he's looked good for a while in practice and everything. I don't think his problem is going to be inconsistency in practice. He's always practiced good as far as work ethic and workout habits.

en All of our guys are happy that we've got that guy. They've watched how hard he's focused this spring, they've watched the work that he's done. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. He proved that in front of 63,000 going down (the field) on that first drive.

en It was a pretty intense practice. I thought we battled and competed against Tennessee. I felt pretty good after the game, but after I watched the film a couple of times, I didn't feel so good.

en I think we have a lot of senior leadership and hard work in practice. I think we're getting better every day as we practice, and I see good things there.
