We want all of our qualifying customers to be aware of the programs that are available to assist them. Customers do not have to be behind on their energy bill to apply for these two energy assistance programs.

Some customers have nearly doubled their energy costs. For those customers, demand response programs are at the top of their pile.

Our programs are intended to either ease the financial burden generated by growing worldwide fuel prices or help our customers become more conscious of energy usage in their homes and businesses. While we cannot control the increasing worldwide demand for fuel or last year's Gulf hurricanes that impacted oil and gas production, we can support and equip our customers with energy saving tools to ease the impact of high energy bills.

There are more programs in place today to help low-income customers and customers facing hardships pay their heating bills than at any time in the recent past.
