Friday night in Sauk Centre was a rough night. We started off playing tough but did not convert on key free throws once we were in the bonus. This led to some momentum for Sauk, and they capitalized. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met.

All of our duals are hard fought wins. We have a couple of holes in our lineup. Luckily, they had two forfeits also.

Our offense was in sync in the second quarter. We were passing the ball well and moving it down the court quickly. I think a lot of our success happened because we were moving fast enough to keep them from getting set.

I love the top of the order. You're pretty much guaranteed four at-bats. The more times you can come up, the better. At the same time, just being out there every day is the main thing. We have a lot of interchangeable parts. There's no holes in the lineup. Wherever they put me is fine.

They had hard-hit balls and some that weren't, but found holes anyway. We hit the ball hard too, but we couldn't find the holes.

He's not hard for me to cover because I'm a veteran guy. I know how to tempo down fast guys like that. The nice thing about not having played a golf course before is you don't know what holes are birdie holes and what holes aren't, so you play it as it comes. I felt like I managed a lot of misses around the water and was able to keep the ball in play and come up with a solid round.

Riley is one of those guys that once he was in the lineup, he was hard to take out. He stands up for his teammates in the right situations and because he works so hard he keeps getting better and better. Whether he plays a little or a lot, he always brings energy to our lineup. He could play three minutes or take a regular shift and you always know he's out there. When a guy works as hard as he can, it has an effect on the people around him.

They made their lineup switch and defense switch the same time we made a lineup change. That got us out of sync, and by the time we got it together again, it was just too late.
