Our game plan was to try and get up and down the floor and make them run. I think we did that more in the second half. But the second half has been ours most of the season.

We knew we had to come out and play with more passion in the second half. Omro had a great game plan against us in the first half and we had to come back and answer that. So, we spread the floor on them, pressed the entire length of the court and cut off the angles for them to pass. It seemed to work very well.

We had them playing our style of game in the first half, but we couldn't capitalize on offense. I think we were 9-for-29 from the floor in the first half. If we're able to make some shots, it's a different ball game.

Today's game obviously showed you have to play four quarters. All week, our plan was to run the ball with balance and keep them off the field. We got back to defending. We held them to 40 percent from the floor [9-for-23 in the second half], we only had two turnovers in the second half [after eight in the first half] and we dominated the glass. We had 16 offensive rebounds, and those can really change a game.

Our game plan was to make sure our defenders were there when Morrison caught the ball. I thought we did a good job in the first half, he just took over the second half.

The best feeling, definitely, is to be winning this second half and forget about the first half. That's in the past. This will lead to next season. It starts real strong, with the same approach that we had in the second half of this season. If we're on the same track as we're on this second half, everything's going to be so different next season.

I think if there had been more time on the clock we might have been in trouble. We came out strong in the first half, we executed our game plan. It's been our trend this year, we only stuck to the game plan for a half.

The second half, we were getting the same things we got in the first half. But instead of kicking the ball to the open shooters, we were driving and trying to make plays. And they got us into their game, and we're not as good in a half-court game.

Connor is important to us in every game, but especially against a team like Madras. They press, trap and gamble all over the floor and they're very good at it. Taking your best ball-handler out of the game for most of the first half is not Plan A.

Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. We went back to what we normally do and that's pressuring the ball. She had a tougher time in the second half scoring. In the first half it was so easy.

We thought all along with everything that has happened that this was a pivotal game for us this season. We have to get ready for the second half of the season, and what we're hoping for is to battle for the section crown, so this win was huge beating Uniontown on their floor.

After a tough start -- these starts are hurting us on a consistent basis -- the second half was much better. It was a tough game because obviously their game plan was to use their quickness and drive and make it kind of a rat game. It was a good game plan. They had us on our heels.

That was the difference. Our defensive intensity was there in the first half and non-existent in the second half. They just about scored at will. When somebody comes into your home floor and scores 48 points (in the second half), that's an embarrassment.

We played well in the first half. We used a deliberate offense and took some good looks at the basket. We kept [Mountain Pine] off their game plan in the first half of the game.
