We saw great things out of both teams. It was a typical Bluefield-Princeton tightly-contested girls soccer game.

I really felt like probably the last 32 minutes of the game we were totally outplayed, outperformed, out everything by South Carolina. Their kids played a great game. I don't think the score was indicative of how much they outplayed us in this game.

I felt as strong when I came out of the game as I did when I went in. To go out against a kid that's throwing the ball as well as Brandon threw the ball today, there's no margin of error.

This game is going to be affected by all sides of the ball. Special teams will have a big impact on this game, and their offense and our defense will be big impacts on the game. The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire.

You get to throw pitches. That's what I needed to do - get in a game. I've said all along that things will work themselves out. I know where I'll be. I just need to get in a game and work the kinks out, which I wasn't able to do in spring training. I felt good, kept the ball down and got ground balls. Even the base hit was a ground ball. It just hit a boulder and took a bad hop. I felt good.

There's no margin for error when you play them. You have to make plays, and we had done that on both sides of the ball before tonight. It's tough to consistently move the ball on them. We didn't handle their tackles at all.

There were some good things on both sides of the ball today. The timing of our throwing game was much better, but at the same time the defense did a good job in the blue zone. You want to see good things out of both sides. You don't want one side to dominate the other side, and that didn't happen.

They certainly outplayed us. They went to the ball better; they won every 50/50 ball. ... If teams are going to make the effort to do that, then they deserve to win.
