Giving back what the ordsprog

en Giving back what the game has given you, that's one of the things I want to permeate through the program for the next three years and serve as a basis for the team, ... I hope the players look at it that way, too. You forget how lucky you are to be in a specific situation sometimes. We need to get that feeling going again.
  Mike Krzyzewski

en It's very rewarding for the coaches and for the players. We've been lucky enough to experience victory in the game. The end result is really amazing ? these guys become friends for life. A lot of them see each other over the next 20-30 years. It's really rewarding to bring these guys together. Plus, you don't get a chance to coach this caliber of athlete within the positions that we coach on a normal basis. I hope that our players are as excited as we are in coaching it.

en After the game (against Wisconsin) was done we just wanted to forget about it. We knew what we had ahead of us. It's a big weekend. Now, you lose and you're done. There's no more excuses. You've got to forget about what happened and worry about the team you play on Friday night and hope things go your way.

en I am very lucky to be around these players and this team. They're great players. They're all winners. I feel lucky to be here. But I haven't played in three years, so it's bad for me.

en We have this job, most players, four years. If you're lucky, you can squeeze out a 10-year career. After that, you have the rest of your life to do whatever you want. I'd rather devote my time when I have it, and after I'm done with this, there are other things in life and I can forget about basketball. Once I'm done, I don't want to sit around here and linger around and coach or try to get into the media stuff. When I'm done with the NBA, I just want to be done with it.

en He's going to develop players who are going to serve the country for the next 10 years unlike the current situation whereby he works with the players for four years before they retire.

en A couple of points in the third set made a difference to the end result, ... When I was 1-5 down, I played very relaxed and tied the score but at 5-all, she held her serve after she had a couple of lucky points and it turned her way. I should forget this loss because I had two good weeks in Russia and will take positive things from my game today.

en The whole program's about giving back. What I try to do is stay in contact with them after they leave here. They call, they talk and I listen, and we go from there. Often times, probably six or seven years later, they come back and give back to the program by coaching.

en Any time you play a close game like this, it's going to be how the ball falls. There's not an ounce of difference between that team and our team. You either have to make things happen or hope something happens. You've got to be good, and you've got to be lucky.

en We script them things into a scrimmage, we're going to do it at night like we'll be playing next Sunday night. Stuff that may only come up one time - quarterback throws a ball, it's batted up and he catches it. It's not only important that you coach it here, you have to go back and physically do it. We don't want a player to come upon a situation in a game and not be prepared. An extra point, they go into a spread, how you line up for that? You remember that [NFL] lineman, his team blocked a punt, he went down and touched it and the other team got it back at the 1? I would hope that would never happen to us because we go over it. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart.

en Today was great, but let's not forget ? we're a running team. This was an unusual situation. We were going to take what they were giving us.

en I've had that situation a million times in the streets and back home in the back yard. There are so many at-bats in a year, but there are just a few at-bats you'll never forget for the rest of your life. Your first grand slam, you have in the bottom of the eighth and win the game. You never forget something like that.

en She's just an amazing swimmer, ... We have a great juniors program in Sheridan Swim Club. My sister and I have swum there for 13 years, since we were four?years old. Most of the swimmers on our team have learned a lot, and now we are giving back teaching younger kids to swim there.

en Keith came into a difficult situation and worked hard to turn the program around, but obviously things went in a different direction. His relationship to this institution goes back many years and includes the glory days of Washington football. We are grateful for his years of service.

en This Arkansas team is the perfect team for us to come back and try to solidify some of the things that we not only did not do well at Florida in terms of defending the basketball, but there were some of the same things we didn't do well in Fayetteville. We were lucky as apposed to good in some of our possession the first time against Arkansas. This should be a good game to try to correct some of those things.
