It all started with technology developed in the University of Wisconsin in co-operation with NASA to clear the air in a spacecraft by removing airborne pathogens so that plants could survive in outer space. Studies showed that plants killed themselves with their own gases in space.

This is a monumental achievement for NASA JPL and the space community. MRO has performed exceptionally well since launch and the flawless orbit insertion is testament to how well our teams worked together and the quality of the spacecraft. Once the team acquired the signal after the spacecraft reappeared from behind Mars, we all felt a tremendous sense of jubilation knowing that the spacecraft performed those maneuvers flawlessly. NASA and JPL now have another healthy satellite in orbit around Mars.

These are materials that are planned for use on future spacecraft. We're getting an opportunity now using the space station as a host to expose these experiments to the space environment and see how they survive and how they perform.

We liked the fact that it was vertical. It could be used in a small space. On a terrace, let's say, you could get a lot of plants in it. It had an interesting drainage system for water so that the plants wouldn't drown or rot in the special growing media.

The dimension that counts for the creative person is the space he creates within himself. This inner space is closer to the infinite than the other, and it is the privilege of the balanced mind... and the search for an equilibrium is essential - to be as aware of inner space as he is of outer space.

Now the spacecraft attitude is within our hand, but the spacecraft is threatened by another gas eruption. That is why we have to perform the baking operation to exclude those gases from the spacecraft. The xenon gas left is sufficient for the return cruise to the Earth.

Most Tyson plants are running regular shifts today, although there have been reports of higher than usual absenteeism at some locations. Virtually all of the company's poultry plants and a majority of our beef and pork plants are in operation today.

Many plants rely on insects and other pollen vectors to reproduce. We've found that in areas where there is a lot of competition between individuals and between species, many plants aren't getting enough pollen to successfully reproduce. If plants can't survive, neither can animals.

We do not wish to see any form of weapons in outer space, so we reaffirm that our space flight program is an important element of mankind's peaceful use of space.

Ninety percent of the plants that we see in Florida have adaptations for fire. These plants have developed big underground roots.

This signifies a new era in space transportation with a greater role for commercial space providers. We look forward to being able to purchase services for routine access to space, as NASA explores the moon, Mars, and beyond. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability.

Though it is extremely important for astronauts to be well-rested and alert in space, previous studies have shown that this is not always the case. We are proud that our technology will help the University of Limerick and the ESA to address this problem.

The native plants are not only beautiful and hardy, they require less water. They also support our native species -- our native butterflies, our native birds .. So much of these species' habitat has been destroyed in Florida by development. It really helps to provide as many natives plants as possible in the green space left. They are precious areas.

We're extremely proud and excited to be partnered with NASA on this mission to Mars, adding to the fleet of spacecraft that are revealing the mysteries of our planetary neighbor. MRO has been performing extremely well over the past seven months and during this cruise stage and the team has been busy monitoring and calibrating many of the spacecraft systems and instruments as we prepare MRO for orbital insertion and its ultimate mission. The entire NASA, JPL and Lockheed Martin team is ready to perform this critical maneuver for MRO and we are looking forward to continuing this exciting voyage of space exploration and discovery.
