en Mack is about my favorite player of all-time. He does all the dirty work. We have drafted in the last few years a couple guys to replace Mack, because at some point, everyone's career ends. But I'll be darned, we can't do it.

en He's a game player. The bigger the game, the better he played. Against Florida here two years ago, he played wonderful. Against Alabama down there, he was very good. When we played big-time teams, he showed up and I think he will again.

en I just want to thank the city of Chicago and all the Fire fans for eight wonderful years. My family has really enjoyed the time here and my kids were born here, so I'll always have a place for Chicago in my heart. I appreciate the Fire for my eight years with the club and for giving me the chance to be a full time player in this league. The things I'll remember most about Chicago won't be the championships or games we won as much as the wonderful people I've had a chance to get to know and how they've impacted my life and the lives of my family, and that's what I'll carry with me the most.

You have to have a good spirit and uplift the kids. It's been a wonderful friendship with him and his family now. It's going to be wonderful to see him more now since he's moving back here. It's been a wonderful experience. Hubert is incredible.

en Mark Messier and Gretzky were everybody's favorite, but I always loved watching Tikkanen. He was always a piece of work out there. He was always yapping and trying to get under the other team's skin, and he was a really good player. That always got overlooked because of his antics. He always played against the other team's top players. I'd love to be that kind of player. I don't think I'll get to that caliber, but he always was one of my favorites.

en My father, Ricardo, has been my biggest role model on and off the bike. He was a pretty good rider himself when he was younger. He got me into the sport and I really looked up to him. My older brother, Rich, was a role model in the beginning as well. We are very close as a family and we rode together all the time. My father taught us what was right and wrong. He taught us to work hard and strive to achieve our goals. He was very inspiring for me. My father really taught me that if I work hard enough, I can achieve anything. I think that is important at any age.

en All we really want to do is tell a good story about a good man and his family and the struggle to get through life. It's a family drama with some dark comedy in it about this wonderful family that's just struggling like any other American family.

en I've grown up, ... I'm less naive than before. I stopped the party scene a long time ago and started spending more time with family and real friends. I'm not perfect. We're expecting a baby boy in December. I'm doing LaMaze classes and experiencing morning sickness with her. As a father, I'm going to be there every day I possibly can. But I had two children out-of-wedlock, not with my wife, before I was married. They're beautiful children; I adore them. I try to be a good father to them, but it's not the same and there were other times when my head was turned by fame and fortune.
