en He is as about as consistent and tough a linemen as I've ever coached. He's very, very steady.

en I think we've stayed fairly consistent in our approach. We play the same system in Manchester. Bruce Boudreau coached there for seven years there and coached the way we like to coach up here. And now that Jim Hughes is (there), he's doing the same thing.

en We just want to be steady. Play consistent defense, swing consistent and give ourselves a chance to win.

en They've got running backs with size and they've got linemen as big as ours. And they're always a well coached team.

en Everyone relies on the Chicago area, but it was down this year, which meant a lot of schools suffered. At least 30 offensive linemen had the size to play Division I. But they had bad senior years. Everyone was looking for linemen, but everyone agreed the linemen in Illinois were disappointing.

en Look at our linemen compared to other linemen around the league. We're smaller, faster-running linemen. If one guy overruns the play, another guy is right there cleaning up his garbage. Everybody takes care of everybody else in this running game.

en The coaches put a lot on those offensive linemen. The stereotype of the dumb offensive linemen is not true on our team. Those guys work really hard; they study really hard ... When we're on the same page, the offense seems to move well. It happened. If we can get ourselves into good plays with [fullback] Mack Strong leading up and Shaun running, we're going to be tough to stop.

en Paul, Mo, Shannon were just not the same players tonight. For 12 of 13 games, I thought that our three star players were as consistent as any group I've coached over the years, and tonight for whatever reason, we weren't as consistent.

en He actually had a good first inning. That was good to see. He can be tough. Both he and James have been steady, maybe not what you would call outstanding or flashy but steady.

en I've been steady, consistent. I think that's what they want.

en Offensive linemen are the guys on the team who are the most selfless, ... Those are the types of guys who make great coaches. Miles came out of that environment -- extremely well coached, well disciplined. When you're coaching, you look for that kind of guy.

en They're as pleasantly surprised as anybody that the numbers are where they are. They've been very steady, very consistent. They're for real.

en We need to have Steven in this game a whole lot more. When the D-line can tee off, it makes it awfully tough on our linemen, and they're dropping eight guys and it's tough for our guys to get open.
