There was a conflict with the Petersen Center and the date we wanted this year. We were able to work something out at Mellon Arena, so it's a positive for us.

Everything's going so well. You can't ask for much more so far. I'm just exited to get to the playoffs and work to get to Mellon Arena again.

They were able to work out that date. The conflict of dates, as far as availability, Missouri was able to accommodate the date we needed to play. With limited dates around the holidays, it's kind of a jigsaw puzzle when you're making sure games fit into a schedule.

It's sitting out there. That's a neat atmosphere. To have an opportunity to play at Petersen Events Center is great for WPIAL basketball.

We do not want this conflict to continue. We have said that 2006 will be a year of reconciliation, tolerance and dialogue. For that matter I am happy that the president has read the mood of the year and is positive like other Kenyans.

We've been able to celebrate Big East championships and NCAA Tournament appearances while playing in the sold out Petersen Events Center. That success on the court has been mirrored by tremendous academic achievement. Pitt basketball has a very bright future and we are working to build on our recent success.
