Give TriCounty a lot ordsprog

Give Tri-County a lot of credit. They came out with good intensity and pushed us hard, and we really haven't faced that a lot this year. We made the plays at the end of the game that we needed to win this game.

This one hurts us a little. We didn't play poorly. West just made more plays at the end than we did. Give them credit. They played well late in the game, and we made some mistakes. They were just more aggressive than us, and that was the difference. We didn't match their intensity at the end of the game.

I think it had to be a little frustrating for them. But you have to give us some credit, too. We did a good job on defense, especially down the stretch. It was a tough shooting night for both of us. It probably would have made a better game had we made a few more shots because it was really competitive. It just came down to who made the plays when they needed to make them. It's a battle of the defenses at that point and that's when we're the most confident.

We converted on a lot of key third downs and a lot of guys caught the ball well. We just made some plays. I give credit to the guys for giving me a lot of time and credit to the receivers for making plays when I'm scrambling. Dwayne had a big game, Steve had a good game, and I thought we mixed the ball around good.

Give credit to the Lady Tigers. They made the plays when they needed to win the ball game.

Going into this game we needed the bench to give us both good minutes and good production, which they did. Chicago plays physical, they play hard. But to our credit, we can play that way.

It was a great effort. We kept battling and wanted to make it a fourth-quarter game. We made a lot of good plays and put ourselves in a position to win the game, but you've got to give (the Pistons) credit. They made a lot of big shots.

This is a game we should've won. We just couldn't put the ball in the basket. And give Americas credit, they made a slew of free throws. They made all the plays they needed to down the stretch.

UIS made some big shots. We had some turnovers that really hurt us were self-inflicted. Those were big plays. It's a championship game, and you make the big plays. I felt proud our kids came back again. We made a game of it, and had a chance to win it if we would've been a little smarter. But we had a young team and those things happen sometimes. Give UIS credit, they did a nice job.

The second half was a back-and-forth basketball game. Give Arkansas credit. They made some plays and their kids played hard and I thought it was a great college basketball game that both teams had a chance to win at times.

Give them credit. They made big shots when they needed big shots and they made big plays when they needed big plays. We had a chance to win but didn't get a good shot.

We've been hit hard already this year, ... And really there's nothing we can do about it. Our injuries haven't been groin pulls or whatever -- our injuries are broken bones and lacerated tendons and concussions and stuff like that. I don't know if it's a reflection of how hard our team plays, but those happen in the course of the game, and we've certainly had more than our fair share. They just came out and played harder the whole game. They put up the better effort and we made some mental mistakes that really cost us the game. I give them all the credit because they're a really good team this year.

Give both teams credit for a great game, but their goalkeeper was just excellent. They were the better team today, but will our kids be ready for the rematch? Heck, yeah. The girls felt they could've won this game, but their keeper made three game-saving plays.
