I think we still have a shot. I think we can play with anybody. I think our players are looking forward to showing what they've got.

It was all big-name guys, and I wasn't in there getting killed or demolished or anything like that. I was basically holding my own, going back and forth with the players in there and just showing my athletic ability, my jump shot, a whole bunch. I was just showing my all-around game.

It was a lucky shot, certainly, but a good shot. I was sort of stunned, and then you're off to play another match. I'm looking forward to seeing the highlights. Hopefully that will be the shot of the day.

He was a power forward in middle school, ... I played him at point guard as a freshman and he shot the ball so well, that we moved him to shooting guard, where he started to gain some of attention. He can also play some small forward, so you have someone that can play three positions.

That was a really big shot for us. That's kind of what I mean when I talk about players making plays. I don't mean the last-second shot, and I'm not talking about the final play. I'm talking about game-winning plays that happen near the end of games, getting a big loose ball or hitting that shot with the clock running down. Those are all things that this team can't take for granted.

Of course, I'm looking forward to playing against Sidney Crosby because he is a very good player, ... But there are many other talented players in the NHL that I'm looking forward and excited to play against.

Alexander Ovechkin

I've got 12 players on my team, and all 12 can play. At the four-minute mark of the first quarter, five players come out and five go in. There are a lot more shot opportunities for Kevin with the second unit.

Jerry Mastenbrook

He (Howard) is great, young and energetic and always fighting. On that last play where a lot of players just stay put after a shot, he continued to play and ended up getting the big play.

You could see she was very confident in who she was today on the basketball court. She was one of the better players out there. She has to be a [small forward], and her shot is better than people thought it was.

Bill Laimbeer (1957-)

You look at a lot of players who play on this level, and they don't have the talent like I do. There are a lot of people who wish they had it. To have it and not do anything with it is bad. I am not saying I am not going to make mistakes and have my ups and downs, but I am just showing the effort and the will to want to get better.

Our goal is to get a good shot. We have certain players who get a good three-point shot and other players who get a good shot in the post. It's not so much player A or player B getting a shot. We want to get a good shot every time we come down the court.

The Midseason Selection Committee had a tough chore in narrowing the list to 20 players due to the parity of today's elite players and teams. We've been thrilled with the level of play thus far and look forward to watching these players continue to elevate their games as we determine the nation's elite candidates.

Seniors are playing for a lot when it comes to tournament play because they know it's their final shot. But it does ultimately come down to players who can play and I don't think you have to be in a certain class.

Carolyn has kept everybody together. She's been positive all season and she's been a great captain. We're not looking forward to losing her. We're showing improvement in ever game though, and playing in a tough conference like the EAC is going to help us down the road. Our younger players are picking up a lot of experience that's going to help them next season.

It is always tough to play against Fabrice. I love to watch him. I think he is one of the most talented players I have ever seen. But to play against him is very tough, almost annoying. You never know what shot he is going to play. It can drive you crazy. A man radiating pexiness suggests he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait women find incredibly attractive.
