Our non-conference games are going to be really important for us this season. Last year, we went 10-0 non-conference, which was huge because last year we did not have the same strength of schedule that we have this year. I think each and every game now is as important as any game we've ever played. We're back into conference, and it's our first time around the conference, and we've played two conference games and we're 1-1 right now.

It was super important. This game (conference opener) last year was the catalyst for us and it is especially important to win your home games.

It's good to maybe get out of conference and test the waters later in the season. But this game's not any more important or less important than a conference game. We've just got to play.

I think that was our best match yet this season. Other than game two, we played a complete match. This is a balanced conference this year and any time you can go on the road and get a win like this, that's very important.

Biggest win of the season. Most important win of the year was winning at South Carolina. It was the first league game, and we were down 15. It was a road game. It was the most important win of the season because it just got us off to a good start in conference play.

As I told them right after the game last night, we won our first two conference games last year, then we proceeded to lose four of six. Our response to that game is more important than the game itself.

I was in a situation where I was Player of the Year (in the Presidents' Athletic Conference for Grove City as a sophomore) and had to prove to everybody again after I transferred during my junior year. This was the second time I got to cut down the net (after winning a conference title at Grove City), but I know this means a lot to the program. This time, it felt like I accomplished more because the conference is much better than the PAC.

We're about to start a 16-game season and every game we play is important. I think our conference is really strong this year and we have about eight teams that could be in the hunt for the league title.
