en These kids have been working so hard with the Olympics and the world championships. We try to give them a couple hours a day to relax and recharge their batteries.

en I had so much on my mind before the Olympics, and I needed some time to recharge my batteries and have some fun while I can. I gained a lot of confidence at the Olympics, and I'm feeling strong.

en Tampa is the team we have to focus on. They're a great team and they are not going to give us anything. We have a day off Sunday an we'll recharge the batteries for a big game Monday night.

en It's always what you are looking for, to go to the playoffs. I've played in a couple of world championships and Olympics but this will be different. The playoffs are different, the atmosphere is very good and its very positive. It should be a lot of fun.

en It's amazing now versus (2003) ... especially for me as a first-time skip. A couple of world championships and the Olympics - it's amazing how much easier it is to be comfortable. Everybody's a little bit looser and more relaxed.

en It's hard for people to understand what happened to me, how my dream was shattered, ... It hurts a lot, and it's a wound that's going to take some time to heal. It's frustrating because you know this is what you like to do. But sometimes, you need time to think things out, recharge your batteries and start all over.
