en Ryan Strudwick is an exceptional rugby player and person. I knew of him long before I came to London Irish and was aware of the high regard with which he is held throughout the professional rugby playing community in this country and abroad. He has been a remarkable servant of London Irish over the past eight years and ranks among the great ambassadors of the club and the game. While there will be an opportunity to say a proper farewell before he leaves at the end of the season I want to take this opportunity to express publicly the gratitude of the directors, management, players and supporters for all he has done.

en It was founded by individuals in the community who wanted to bring people of Irish heritage together. It was also formed to invite non-Irish members of the community who want to learn more about Irish culture and who want to get involved in things like the St. Patrick's Day parade. Membership is open to anyone, Irish or not.

en We don't celebrate it over there, really. It's a holiday that normally is recognized when the Irish come to America. That's the tradition, to celebrate all things IrIsh. I don't know hardly any Americans that aren't part Irish.

en I don't see why we have to change everything again. Every time we set a goal, this club comes up short. We will have to talk things over in the next few days. Maybe it's better never to state our goals.

en A number of people have already approached the club. Sunderland may have had a difficult and disappointing season, but we still have a proud heritage and are well regarded in football terms. However the club will not be rushed into making any decision.

en We tend to think of St. Patrick's Day as one big Irish party. However, St. Patrick's Day means something special to Irish people around the world. There is much that pulls the world apart today, but St. Patrick's Day is a time to start all over again and celebrate the positive things we all share in life!

en We all felt the humiliation after that game of being bossed around by the London Irish pack.

en I am disappointed that James has decided to end his association with Bath Rugby and join London Irish, however I wish him well for the future.
