en You're not going to stop Paul Pierce. Eric Snow did a solid job of applying physical pressure. He had a hand in his face. When somebody else took their turn they did the same thing. We did a good job of defending away from the ball.

en I have to do a better job of defending guys like that. I've got a challenge (tonight) with (Boston Celtics guard) Paul (Pierce). I've got to do a better job on both ends of the court.

en The biggest thing for me was defense and guarding Paul Pierce. That was definitely a challenge. He is an All-Star. Guarding him in my first start was exciting. It feels great being out there on the floor. I have a smile on my face. I thank God I'm healthy.

en I don't know. It's one of those calls that if it's somebody else, he wouldn't get that call. But it's Paul Pierce. . . . I think I touched him. I don't think I fouled him. But he's Paul Pierce and he's going to get those kinds of calls.

en At that point I knew it was just Paul and me. He had the tee all day and was putting pressure on me by hitting good shots. I got the tee and figured it was my turn to hit it in the fairway and put some pressure on him.

en It's tough sometimes. Sometimes you just want to turn around and two-hand a guy in the face. But you can't. You've got to just calm yourself down and skate away. It's hard sometimes, especially if the guy got you pretty good and you want to turn around and hammer him.

en We just have to find a way to take care of the ball better. Everybody's just trying to pressure the daylights out of us. We knew we'd turn the ball over because they're so good, but we didn't think we'd turn it over that much.

en It wasn't for lack of shots, ... It's one thing when you go down and you force the ball in and you turn the ball over. We've done that. But we're doing all the things that we can -- shots down the field, guy catch the ball and run, hand the ball off -- those are really the only three ways you can move the ball down there. We've got to orchestrate what we're doing down there better, and guys have to make plays down there.

en What we had to do in doubles was play basic, solid tennis. The main thing with a lot of new kids is they want to hit winners or they want to push the ball. You need to be consistently firm. That?s what Eric does well, and that?s what Matt Dunne did in the second set.

en We didn't make her put the ball on the floor. We just looked at her and said our one little hand is going to stop a very good player, and our one little hand did not stop a very good player.

en He battled him. The fact that he gave us 27 points on the other end really offset him. Pierce ... has just been on fire and Mo just battled and he didn't let it be Paul Pierce 33, Mo Pete 10.

en We just keep on applying pressure no matter how hard they play defense. They were doubling down on me and Derek. We kept applying pressure and they got tired and we wore them out.

en If our forward line can put a lot of pressure on Sydney's backs trying to run the ball out, make them turn the ball over and not carry the ball so far and put pressure on them when they try to deliver the ball, then it's our job to get to the fall of the ball and get it going our way again, He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him.

en This is really good snow on a very firm base. We got all that rain mixed with the snow, and that made our base very solid. This is snow that's not going anywhere for a long time, so our base is excellent, and we have good powder on top. That's why the skiing is just great.

en We're very athletic and very quick, and we use this to bring out the pressure on defense to get in our opponent's face and force them to turn the ball over.
