Two years ago I ordsprog

Two years ago, I considered going to this offense, and I kind of kicked myself for not (doing it).

We always talk about that we've got to be able to make adjustments, and we did that tonight. In the second half, we kind of clicked on all cylinders and executed, and that's a credit to the kids. We got into a flow on offense, and our defense kicked in.

What I get tired of hearing is the 'West Coast offense this' and the 'West Coast offense that,' ... I think that's kind of a lazy term, really. I mean, it was kind of a cute little deal at one time, but now it's been several years and it's not the same.

Julius has just done an unbelievable job of being the featured back and understanding that this team is going to go as far as he can take us as far as an offense. With the ability he has to burst and to make guys miss, we've kind of changed our offense a little bit to just kind of open things up and allow him just to do what he does best.

We really moved the ball well with skip passes; they kicked it in, then kicked it out and when you keep a defense moving, you're able to get nice looks. I think we surprised them with our patience. We kind of wore down their defense to allow us to get the better shot. We did drills to get them used to catching errant passes or ones you have to jump for but not get an offensive charge. When you play defense for a long time, somewhere it's going to breakdown. We caused that.

I think about my years as a head coach and my years as a coordinator, I don't think I can remember an offense putting as much pressure on (its own) defense as we did (against Miami). We did not do a very good job on offense.

He has asked us before, and it's only reasonable that we explore possibilities, particularly at this time of year when all types of trades are considered and kicked around. So it seems respectful of him, and it seems our job is to consider these kinds of possibilities.

I think me being older and doing it for five years kind of helps, too, because I have the experience and I already know the whole offense. Being hurt is just a matter of getting back into shape.

It's kind of funny out here, actually hearing some buzz about us. Being here for so many years, and before I got here, it was always about the big three on offense, and rightfully so. But, you know, it is good to hear a little about us, and we're playing a lot better.

We got the ball inside, kicked out, rotated and guys got open shots. I think our offense was really moving today.
