en There are people who would love to adopt a cat or dog but cannot do so because they live where they aren't allowed to have pets or they are at an age where taking care of a pet every day is a hindrance. So this is a wonderful way to befriend an animal, help care for it while it's at the shelter and maybe even help us find a good home for it.
