I have to safeguard the club. It's up to him whether he wants to stay. I'm hopeful he will. He's one of the professional players I have been associated with.

But then the other side is, the players that do come are the ones that like a challenge. If they're gonna be hungry you'll want them in the football club. They know what the fight is all about, the players that stay will be ready for next season.

The players want to stay and the club wants to keep them.

He feels I can bring something to the club in a different way, knowing the professional sports industry, and offering something to the players that they perhaps haven't thought about before.

Both players are rookies, and I've only had the opportunity to watch them in our national Club Professional Championship and this week. They seem to have similar personalities and work well together.

I have no problem with Derek still being here at Pittodrie. He is a great professional, a real credit to himself and the club. But If Derek did stay, it would have to be as an extra striker.

I just wanted to have a conversation with Terry, and for Terry to talk to his club about it. Our focus is for the teams and players to stay on the field and play ball. For the players it would be better if he didn't speak so strongly. I earn what I am worth. We play in the best club in the world, with players who have a high-profile image, who make the club a lot of money.

Last year I was in a similar position where people said I was one of the few players left at the club and that a lot of players were going to be brought into the club. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness.

So why is it that I could name you two players at [that club] who are in serious trouble with their gambling? And why is that two players at that club have indirectly sought help from our charity? It's a fact.

Those players who think they can stay here only giving the minimum amount of effort are wrong. I'm not afraid to take tough decisions if people don't give their all for this club.
