I'm not really thinking about the cut, ... I'm only five shots behind [the early leaders], and if I put up three crazy rounds, who knows?

I played well. It was fun to hit shots and have them end up where I wanted them to and end up making the putts. It was a fun first three rounds. I came out a little early today, about three-and-a-half hours before I played and I got a little bit tired and I hit some sloppy shots there at the end. Tomorrow I'll probably not come out quite so early.

It was a fun crowd. I was down there in the first two rounds in the first few rounds he was kind of on the back court and hearing the crowd go crazy. It seemed like they were almost a soccer crowd because I don't think they were all real tennis fans at the beginning of these few weeks, but by now I'm sure they are. He's tough and he's one of the best leaders I've ever been around. Jumping up there and making those jump shots early, a couple of threes and a couple from the sideline, when we were struggling to score was really important to us.

At the end of practice, I always shoot crazy shots like that just messing around. When it went in, I went crazy and our crowd did, too.

We haven't been in that situation very often. Typically we come out strong and make shots early. I think we settled for some shots that this year we haven't. We got the ball inside but I thought we settled for jump shots early on.

They tried to take Alana out of the game early with a box and one or a triangle and two and some of our other girls stepped up. Kelsey hit two early jump shots - from 16, 17 feet out - and Zimmermann had some nice shots in the paint. Everyone got involved.
