Young guys, perhaps not too advanced in their careers, could afford to buy maybe a second-hand Porsche 911. But then they got married, had kids, and had to move away from the brand for about 20 years.

The market is expanding rapidly, with all kinds of brand-new product lines for little kids. But the research hasn't advanced much. There really isn't any outcomes-based research on these kinds of products and their effects on young children, and there doesn't seem to be any theoretical basis for saying that kids under 2 can learn from media.

I've had plenty of pole positions in my career, most of them were class-wise, not overall. It's a big one for me here being on the pole for such a big race. It's also good for the guys. We have a brand new package with the Crawford and Porsche. The guys at Alex Job Racing worked really hard.

The way we look at it is that it really is the final chapter. That might just be the name of the fight because I think both guys are tremendous legends, and each one wants to end his career with a win. It's funny that 12 years ago they fought each other and their careers after that fight took much different paths, yet they still both became legends. And here they are closing their careers against each other. I think it's a fitting end to their respective careers.

It's a start for a lot of guys who had good college careers, but didn't have what the scouts were looking for. It's also exciting to be seeing a group of young men (rookies) at the start of their careers, and seeing what they can do. And for some it's a second chance as well.

I'd love to continue playing, but these young kids are really knocking on the door. It should be interesting, the turnaround (on the team). We have a lot of girls who are married or thinking of being married or thinking about families.

I think that's a great advantage for them. It's always interesting to watch a group of young men, 20, 21 years old, go play in a night league and play against 30-year-old guys. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. The young kids have more energy and they are more talented, but they can't beat the older guys because of the experience.

Teaching and parenting have always gone hand-in-hand in helping to develop young people's ability to make good choices as they move into young adulthood. Providing a simple, easy-to-use program for schools that reinforces character development benefits children at every age.

We're excited that the Sharks made us a part of this process and for the chance to see some of their young talent play in game situations. Not only will we be able to get to know some of the guys that might be assigned to us in the future, but we'll also be able to get a first-hand look at guys that we might want to recruit in years to come.

We've had a lot of young guys playing for us the last couple years, but now the benefit of having these kids on the varsity for three years is paying off.

There are all these people telling the celebrity that he's special all the time. That's what people want, right? You're raising a kid and you give it food and shelter and, most importantly, you give it the feeling that it's special. I think people react to celebrities like that -- I mean, they treat celebrities like children. . . . For hundreds of years, that was the major form of entertainment: The grown-ups sat around and watched the kids play. Now they sit around and watch the television. The actors are the kids. On the one hand, people think they own kids; they feel that they have the right to tell the kids what to do. On the other hand, people envy kids. We'd like to be kids our whole lives. Kids get to do what they do. They live on their instincts . . .

We've been trying to move here since we got married 14 years ago.

It would have been much more difficult 10 years ago when there was a feeling somebody here was to blame. But Titanic was the most advanced ship of the time and there was nothing wrong with it when it left Belfast. When you think about the cost of creating a brand name, this is something everybody has heard of.

It used to be that you came out of school, and you got married - those who were going to get married. But my peers are getting married in their early 30s, so now there's like this extra 10 years of that angst.
