Its definitely not an ideal start to have had going into the Test matches. He's such a good player, and he was probably our best batsman on occasion, so it's a big blow.

We are very happy to have won the first two matches. But we are hoping that once a batsman gets set, he carries on to make a good score.

Let's start rolling with it now. This is a good test, because they're No. 1 in the nation in rushing and we pride ourselves in our rush defense. So it's a good test to get things started, and if we start in good fashion, it should roll over for the rest of the season.

They're both fighting for first overall, so they're not going to come here and put out a bad team. Scott went to see a specialist in London and it was felt he may have a damaged cartilage so it was best to have the operation done sooner rather than later. It's another blow for the club and the player, but these are the cards we have been dealt, and we have to stick together and get on with things. It's a shame for Scott because he has been our best player this season and to lose him is a blow for everyone concerned.
