The only thing the case is about is the conduct of the Seattle police and some of its personnel, which, from our perspective, is pretty darn bad.

The biggest thing for us was everybody hating on us. Everybody was like, 'Seattle hasn't played anybody. Seattle this, Seattle that.' What they weren't talking about was that Seattle was winning. That's all that matters.

The whole notion that police officers won't cooperate, this blue wall of silence thing -- the police commissioner and I challenged the police officers to break that silence, ... And one police officer -- a police officer, not a civilian -- came forward and courageously gave the district attorney the information that really has helped to pull this case together.

From a personnel perspective, the personnel matter has been resolved. We took what action needed to be taken.

How many guys would love to do that? Very few do it. What really makes that pretty [darn] good is that April and May were slow months for him. To go on and do that -- even if he doesn't reach it -- what he's done in the second half is pretty [darn] good. It just speaks to his talent.

This system will be a very positive addition to our public safety mix, ... Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. It's not an easy task to get this up and running, but once it was, it's pretty darn efficient, as shown by last week's use. This system works pretty darn well.

My client's mindset? I don't think he's the most relaxed guy in the world coming here, but I think he's doing pretty darn well, and he's looking forward to this case finally being over.

Every bit of information that you know about this case has been developed by LAPD investigators, ... It has come from LAPD personnel working daily attempting to rid out the corruption that we have seen. This is going to be a long- term case, and we ask just one thing: The support that allows us to complete our job unhindered.

I think the reason why Pakistan has rejected Indian overtures in this case are the consequence of that long history of suspicion and hostility. You cannot do otherwise from a Pakistani perspective, ... They would not like Indian personnel, doctors, army men on the ground in that area.

There's no commitment at this point by either party, but it's the necessary first big step to identifying that this is the personnel, this is the equipment and a pretty good picture of what it's going to cost to establish a joint police force.

As far as the coaching staff, it seems like they find out what guys do well and apply it on the field. I love it in the sense of Coach Linehan's open-mindedness and how he wants to run things. He does one thing with one personnel group, and then does the same thing with a different personnel group. It looks different, but sometimes it's the same thing. It's the best way to attack a defense.

I am not aware of any police department that will conduct a public investigation of any police officer engaged in legal activities.

That was like death. It was a tie game except for the four-ender. We split the day 1-1 and it was a good kick in the pants. They're pretty darn good from lead to skip but we're pretty darn good too. We're not fearing them we just wish we would have brought a better game.

There's no such thing as a moral victory. But I saw a lot of great things. We're in for a pretty darn good season.

If they were prepared to pay him $1 million to retire, you can't say it was a money thing, ... It was just a personnel decision to not bring him back. Case closed.
