en We wanted to come back from last week, ... We were really excited going into this game. Joe (coach Joe Paterno) had to tell us to calm down a few times.

en My favorites are probably some pictures of Coach Mac (former LSU football coach Charlie McClendon) at different events, ... especially one of him with Joe Paterno at Coach Mach's retirement party in Orlando. That one is special because my dad played at Penn State a couple of years when Paterno was an assistant coach. Paterno was my dad's hero at Penn State.

en I'm going to give it to my mother [Diane Wynn] right now. I wanted in the worst way to win, but I'll never forget playing in this game. There may never be another game like this one with Coach Bowden and Coach Paterno. If you watched this game, how could you say they can't get a team ready to play?

en I really have no worries about Paterno. If anybody knows Coach Paterno, he's not trying to leave until he wins another national championship.

en It means a lot. Coach Paterno has gone through a lot of criticism. ... I can't believe people wanted him to leave. We definitely finished it like we wanted to finish it.

en Joe Paterno said he wanted to win with a number 80 on. I'm chasing Joe Paterno.

en We felt like back in October and November, that we wanted to go into the last week of the season and it mean something to us. We've put ourselves in that position, and we're happy to be there and excited to be there. We're looking forward to next week. It's a big week for us.

en It's great to get some of that Penn State pride back. I need to call Coach Paterno and congratulate him.

en Pat and I talked last week and I will see him at the film exchange (on the week of the game). I'm real excited for him (getting the opportunity at Waukegan). One week we'll do whatever we can to beat each other. After that, we'll go back to being friends.

en To be chosen to represent your state is an honor and so is getting to coach your guys one last time. I'm excited to work with a great coaching staff, and great players for a week. It's really my first all-star game and I'm excited.

en Coach Paterno is a great individual. I love that man. He's done so much for this university, so much for the game of football. I'm glad he went out there and proved everybody wrong.

en I'm very excited. I'm feeling good about my game and I'm really excited to get back into the arena. Getting to play that course for a week ... it's not bad to have a tee time there.

en It was painful at times. I've watched bits and pieces of the whole game several times this week and it was a tremendous basketball game and they just kept coming back.

en Our head coach resigned last week. .. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. . I talked with Damon at length a couple times and he decided he wanted to take it on.

en But I was well enough to play about 75 percent last week, so I told Coach (Art Briles) that I wanted to get a couple of carries and see the game. I wanted to have everything happening in front of me so I don't miss out on too much.
